Meet Professional Organizer
Cori Gordon

Organizing comes naturally to busy wife and mom, Cori. She has always been the first to volunteer when friends or family members needed their closet, garage, or home organized. In fact, she did it so often that friends started suggesting she charge for her services, and Simplify + Move LA was born!

Cori’s passion for bringing order to chaotic situations fuels each and every project she takes on, and seeing people experience life after clutter makes her job even more rewarding!

Cori was inspired to expand her business offerings to include senior downsizing services after her father suddenly became ill and needed to be moved into a home. This trying time helped Cori learn about senior communities as well as the high level of empathy and compassion required in the downsizing process.

Helping seniors prepare to move out of the home they love into a much smaller residence is challenging, but Cori’s personal experiences combined with years of professional organizing have given her the tools to make the process go more smoothly for everyone involved.

In her time off, Cori is an avid skier, and loves to be outside hiking and riding her bike. She is honored to work with the amazing women below.

Meet Natalie

Natalie is from London and moved to Los Angeles 7 years ago. She has been organizing since she was a child saying it always came naturally to her.

Her mum says to this day, “She was very finicky, everything needed to be just right, tidy and color coordinated. Shoes had to be in a straight line, things had to be symmetrical and books in order, everything had to match and have a place.” Some things haven’t changed!!

Natalie likes to bring her own personal aesthetic and interior design eye when organizing spaces. She gets a great deal of pleasure seeing everything come together. When Natalie is not organizing, she likes to visit home trade shows or unwind with a cup of tea watching fixer upper.

Meet Kim

As a wife and mother of two, Kim always enjoyed staying organized and keeping a tidy home. Having found herself in situations where people turned to her for advice and guidance in personal finances, spring cleaning and wardrobe makeovers, Kim was drawn to helping people get organized. Now Kim enjoys working in a team environment collaborating on whole home organization.

Meet Livvy

Liv, the Kansas girl, has called Los Angeles home for the past two years. Her passion for organizing blossomed during the pandemic when she lent a hand to friends navigating downsizing and decluttering challenges in the Midwest.

Embracing a minimalist lifestyle herself, Liv found her calling within the realm of organization. Joining Cori’s team was like discovering a second home.

What Liv appreciates most about her role is the opportunity to connect with clients on a personal level, delving into their life stories and understanding the sentimental value behind their possessions. Guiding individuals towards enhanced organizational systems and assisting them in updating their daily routines brings her joy.

Beyond organizing, Liv loves spending time with animals, hiking adventures, experimenting in the kitchen, crafting collages, and soaking up the sun whenever possible.

Meet Marissa

Marissa is passionate about helping others get organized. She loves seeing the joy and satisfaction it brings to people.

Marissa believes that what you physically surround yourself with has a profound impact on your wellbeing, and that we all deserve to live in a space of peace. Her other loves include the arts, animals, nature and her home state of California.

Meet Leah

Leah’s earliest organizing memories as a child include color coordinating the embroidery floss and folding disheveled towels at the local Kmart.

For a thrill she is frequently found at parties re-adjusting the contents of the host’s closet.

Growing up with a brother with A.D.H.D., Leah found peace in neatness and order. As an actor, organization is a must when it comes to scheduling, and she is grateful to have found a company to work with to be able to do what she loves part time.

Meet Carlos

Carlos’ background is primarily in business, but he also shares a passion for rolling up his sleeves and shifting from spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and video conference calls to getting some tools in his hands!

His precision, attention to detail, and step-by-step process communication has delivered solutions to clients in specific areas such as space enhancement (wall storage and media mountings), art installations, and complex feature product assemblies.

His work has been featured with the leading organizing professionals (Simplify + Move LA, of course), design teams in corporate and private spaces, local museums, galleries, and institutional exhibits.

Meet Megan

Megan’s background in visual merchandising and customer service has given her a natural ability to organize and connect with clients. She has a strong eye for detail and is a jack of all trades type of person. She enjoys the hands on approach that organizing requires. Simplifying spaces brings her peace of mind. She also finds helping others transition to their next phase to be very rewarding.

Meet Angela

Angela likes the collaboration of working with a team, and loves that there are others who “geek out” the way she does when it comes to organizing spaces. While every client is unique and special, Angela holds a particular fondness towards working with the senior community and helping them move. She understands that such a major transition can be very emotional and finds it an honor to connect with them every step of the way.

She is certified in Mindfulness Meditation, and finds organizing a form of meditation in itself.

Meet Nicole

A self-proclaimed perfectionist with a background in higher education and organizational management, Nicole finds great joy in helping others tidy their spaces and find order in their lives. She also finds it extremely rewarding to work alongside and collaborate with such a brilliant team. An LA native, she loves hiking, farmers’ markets, and exploring the boundless food scene of Southern California.

Meet Nguyet

Nguyet’s customer oriented and patient personality is perfect for helping clients navigate the arduous process of moving their senior parents into a senior living community.

Being a mother of three boys and working, Nguyet rarely finds the time to organize her busy household. However, when she is able to do so, she finds it a rewarding and stress relieving activity.

Working for Simplify + Move LA has been so rewarding as she is the liaison between the senior and the senior community. Hearing how happy they are after a move is what makes this job like no other.

Meet Stephanie

Stephanie’s love of organizing connected her back together with Cori via Instagram after many years apart (they have known each other since they were 8 years old!).

A results-oriented, experienced executive in non-profit and advertising, Stephanie joined the Simplify and Move LA team in 2021.

Her proven abilities in fiscal management, communication strategies and human resources are helping Cori streamline the business’ operations as it continues to expand in new directions.
