Meet Professional Organizer
Cori Gordon Allvey

Organizing comes naturally to busy wife and mom, Cori. She has always been the first to volunteer when friends or family members needed their closet, garage, or home organized. In fact, she did it so often that friends started suggesting she charge for her services, and Simplify + Move LA was born!

Cori’s passion for bringing order to chaotic situations fuels each and every project she takes on, and seeing people experience life after clutter makes her job even more rewarding!

Cori was inspired to expand her business offerings to include senior downsizing services after her father suddenly became ill and needed to be moved into a home. This trying time helped Cori learn about senior communities as well as the high level of empathy and compassion required in the downsizing process.

Helping seniors prepare to move out of the home they love into a much smaller residence is challenging, but Cori’s personal experiences combined with years of professional organizing have given her the tools to make the process go more smoothly for everyone involved.

In her time off, Cori is an avid skier, and loves to be outside hiking and riding her bike. She is honored to work with the amazing women below.

Karen

Karen’s background in education and community engagement has given her a unique approach to organizing. Her years of planning events are reflected in her passion for creating physical spaces that are welcoming, comfortable and well-functioning. Her creative vision helps her create action plans that get her clients excited about the organizing process.  She loves to create clean and uncluttered spaces designed to incorporate family treasures that speak of history and continuity.

Karen’s first experience with senior downsizing came when she had the privilege of moving her mother into an independent living facility. The weight and responsibility of her physical care was lightened by the process of downsizing, and her mother is thriving in her new home.

Sharon has found her passion and it is organizing. After a successful career as a retail executive and then as a real estate agent at Sotheby’s, she is now thoroughly enjoying being part of the team at Simplify + Move LA.

Sharon has always had the gift of order and has kept her own home and those of her friends, family and colleagues organized!! Her creativeness and ability to think outside the box benefits her clients with tips and tools that leave them all asking for more.

She has an innate ability to create trusting relationships. She is extremely proud of her two grown (and organized) children.

Natalie

Natalie is originally from London and moved to LA 5 years ago. She has been organizing since she was a child. Natalie’s mum will say to this day, “She was very finicky. Everything needed to be just right, tidy, and color coordinated. Shoes had to be in a straight line, things had to be symmetrical and books in order, everything had to match and have a place.”

Nothing has changed for her! Natalie loves to bring her own personal aesthetic and interior design eye when she is organizing. She gets a great deal of pleasure seeing everything come together.

When Natalie is not organizing, she likes to visit home trade shows or unwind with a cup of tea watching fixer upper shows.

What she is most passionate about is helping others, bringing joy and comfort to her clients when facing change or new emotional next steps in their lives and helping bring a fresh perspective.

Meet Deborah
