Meet Professional Organizer
Cori Gordon

Organizing comes naturally to busy wife and mom, Cori. She has always been the first to volunteer when friends or family members needed their closet, garage, or home organized. In fact, she did it so often that friends started suggesting she charge for her services, and Simplify + Move LA was born!

Cori’s passion for bringing order to chaotic situations fuels each and every project she takes on, and seeing people experience life after clutter makes her job even more rewarding!

Cori was inspired to expand her business offerings to include senior downsizing services after her father suddenly became ill and needed to be moved into a home. This trying time helped Cori learn about senior communities as well as the high level of empathy and compassion required in the downsizing process.

Helping seniors prepare to move out of the home they love into a much smaller residence is challenging, but Cori’s personal experiences combined with years of professional organizing have given her the tools to make the process go more smoothly for everyone involved.

In her time off, Cori is an avid skier, and loves to be outside hiking and riding her bike. She is honored to work with the amazing women below.

Karen’s background in education and community engagement has given her a unique approach to organizing. Her years of planning events are reflected in her passion for creating physical spaces that are welcoming, comfortable and well-functioning. Her creative vision helps her create action plans that get her clients excited about the organizing process.  She loves to create clean and uncluttered spaces designed to incorporate family treasures that speak of history and continuity.

Karen’s first experience with senior downsizing came when she had the privilege of moving her mother into an independent living facility. The weight and responsibility of her physical care was lightened by the process of downsizing, and her mother is thriving in her new home.

Her work with Simplify and Move LA has been a dream come true and she enjoys the process of moving people and enabling them to settle into efficiently organized homes.

Her friends would often ask for her help in organizing their own spaces, so it became something of a hobby.

Jennifer personally abides by the idiom, “a place for everything and everything in its place.” Her favorite spaces to organize are closets and kids rooms.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two young children, whose spaces she takes great pride in organizing. She is also a voracious reader who enjoys visiting museums and being at the beach.

Her proven abilities in fiscal management, communication strategies and human resources are helping Cori streamline the business’ operations as it continues to expand in new directions.
